Janet George came to the MISS Foundation in 2002 when her first child Isaac died in the NICU when he was 3 days old. Janet was a co-facilitator for the MISS Foundation in IL for several years. In 2005 Janet received her certification in Grief Counseling from Canyon College. Janet is a member of the American Academy of Grief Counseling. Janet currently serves the MISS foundation as a HOPE Mentor and is a member of the Parent Advisory Board of the MISS Foundation. Janet makes the Chicago area her home. She lives there with her husband Eric and her living son, Caleb.
