| 2004 Kids' Conference
Coordinator
I recently graduated from ASU West with Summa Cum Laude recognition
with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Sociocultural
Anthropology. I am a member of Psi Chi, the National Honors Society
in Psychology at ASU West, Psi Beta, the Honor Society for Psychology
Majors for the Community Colleges and Junior Colleges, along with
Phi Theta Kappa, the International Honor Society of the 2 year Colleges.
I am also a member of the Western Psychological Association and
have presented in the general poster session at the WPA Conference
in Maui, Hawaii in May 2001 as well as Vancouver, Canada in May
2003. My interests are in forensics, psychophysics, abnormal, and
industrial psychology. I am pursuing a graduate degree in related
studies. However, I am not exactly sure what area I want to commit
to. Also, I have interest and volunteer experience in non profit
organizations such as MISS Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Arizona
Humane Society, and the Phoenix Rescue Mission. My goals include
discovering my Mission in life by being a positive, productive and
active member of society in any way possible. I would also like
to find and dedicate my life journey with a life partner by my side
as well as have a family in the near future. As for my family now,
I have an extremely dedicated and supportive mother and father,
along with an outstanding and brilliant sister (who is expecting
our first grandbaby!!). I have four dependents, Mr. Winks, a russian
desert tortoise, Miss Cutie Bird, a grey cockatiel, and Pinky and
Henry, my hermit crabs. I would like to give thanks to all those
who have helped me in my journey in immeasurable ways specifically
my parents Roger and Mary for their unconditional love and support,
Joanne Cacciatore for the MISS opportunity, Dr. Oliver and Dr. Nanez
for research and educational opportunities as well as encouragement,
and most importantly, God for his endless grace, undying love and
sacrifice.
